About me: Dr. Terry Mooney

I graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1982 with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Before that I worked in the college setting, working at the community college of Suffolk County, New York offering career and counseling services to the community college student.

In 1982 I began consulting with corporations, school districts, banks, manufacturers, etc. to deal with the mental health and personal issues of their employees and their families. Since then I have dedicated my practice to helping people build healthier lives, families and business through better choice making.

My doctorate was on the treatment of anxiety disorders in adult women returning to college. Since then, I have established the Center for Anxiety Disorders at Karner Psychological Associates in Guilderland, New York. I have seen thousands of people over the years whose lives have been complicated by bad choices, medical and mental ill health, and serious life stresses.
