The Professional Staff at Karner Psychological
Associates is composed of New York State licensed psychologists and
social workers. We have a high percentage of referrals for child &
adolescent therapy as well as many other disciplines. Licensed
psychologists who are interested in testing and assessment
(especially ADHD and learning disorders) are needed. Preference is
also given to clinicians available to work evenings and weekends, as
well as bi-lingual therapists. All clinicians enjoy a camaraderie
environment and flexible work schedule. Full time clinicians (those
available to work at least 25 patient hours a week, 48 weeks a year)
have access to health care benefits, a flexible spending program,
and are eligible for a 401K plan.

for Licensed Psychologists and Licensed Social Workers
Group Facilitator
Duties:
- develop group curriculum
- facilitate assigned group sessions
- maintain assigned group roster
- collect assigned group fees
- complete assigned paper work on each group participant per
group session
- maintain communication with group administrator
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate group experience: have experience facilitating
group sessions either with children or adult populations
- Demonstrate completion of first year of MSW program or Ph.D.
psychology program, or have completed a Master's degree in special
education.
