GROUP THERAPY OFFERINGS

Group Counseling

A number of therapists at Karner Psychological Associates offer group therapy programs that are geared to specific demographics or that focus on specific topics necessary for competency and success at home, in school, at work and in the community.

Patients can join at any time at the discretion of the group facilitator. Please reach out to the phone extensions listed under each group to speak with the therapist directly.

Price: Cost is $45 per group session.
Group therapy is covered by most insurances. Please check with your insurance. However, if your insurance does not reimburse for group therapy, please discuss with the therapist.

Telehealth Women’s Group for Moms

Group Facilitator: Krina Cozart, LMHC

For many of us, being a mom is the most challenging job we’ve ever had. This group supports and connects moms as they navigate gaining coping skills and finding solutions together, allowing them to feel less isolated and more empowered.

Men's Group - Life Issues - 21 and over. In-Person

Group Facilitator: William Donovan, LMHC

Often, there is a stigma regarding men asking for help, which results in their reluctance to do so. Our group assists men in working through and resolving a variety of life and mental health issues within the confines of a safe therapeutic environment, thus removing the stigma and shame of asking for help.
